A child that has a dog will have a buddy to give them comfort to them when they are angry and give them a hug when they are in distress and worried. Dogs have many advantages to children that vary from health to social benefits. The daily routine of owning a dog can help your child in some ways.

The dog should be taken for physical activities daily. The family can get involved in walking the dog and holding the rope each at a time. Exercising the dog daily will help the child understand the importance of daily dose of physical activity and help them keep healthy. This is an excellent way to encourage the children to form a habit of working out daily and become more active. You can also teach your child how to feed the dog.
